The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, May 29, 2007 Helen Juanita Mahan Franklin went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2007 at the young age of 81 at Meadow Park Nursing Home. She was born December 14, 1925 to Charles Edgar Jackson and Opal Lois Holder of Ridgeway, Texas. Juanita is preceded in death by her husbands, Terrell B. Mahan of Williams, Ariz. and Oscar Lee Franklin who both resided in Chino Valley, Ariz. Where she made her home for 47 years as a homemaker. Juanita is survived by her son Malcom Gregory Mahan of Chino Valley, Ariz.; daughter Terri Ann Leonard of Chino Valley, Ariz.; brother Bill Jackson (Betty) of Brashers, Texas; sister Margaret Arnold of Sulfer Springs, Texas; three nieces that reside in Texas; three grand daughters that reside in Arizona; three great granddaughters; two great grandsons who reside in Arizona; and one nephew who resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Hampton's Funeral Home in Prescott, Arizona. Arrangements were entrusted to the Hampton Funeral Home, Prescott, Ariz.
