FLYNN-INGEBRITSON , Helen Joyce

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 04, 2013 Helen Joyce Flynn-Ingebritson of Prescott, Ariz., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was born in Elmira, N.Y., and spent much of her early life as a nurse and devoted mother, raising her own children and stepchildren, and also aiding disabled children as well. What made Helen special was her compassion for everyone - great and small, her sense of humor, her flair for the finer things in life, and her love for her treasured Labrador retrievers. There is not a person she ever met that Helen did not wish the best for - and not a situation for which she did not have a witty observation. One could not hope for a better friend or a more loving wife and mother. Helen is survived by her husband, Jack Ingebritson; her two daughters, Terry Troxell and Judy Flynn Tornabene; and her two sons, Brian James Flynn and Henry Joe Flynn. Helen also is survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, followed by services at noon at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 Indian School Road, Scottsdale, Ariz. Internment will follow at the Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E Shea Blvd., Scottsdale. Information provided by survivors.
