YBARRA, Gilbert M.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 04, 2013 Gilbert M. Ybarra passed away surrounded by immediate family in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Aug. 8, 2013. Gilbert was born in Prescott, Ariz. on April 25, 1953, to Antonio and Rosa Ybarra. He graduated from Prescott High School in 1971. Gilbert proudly served in the United States Army from 1971 through 1974. Gilbert was preceded in death by parents Antonio and Rosa Ybarra, and brothers Phillip, Tony Jr. and Robert. He is survived by his wife Sharon; sons Antonio (Ashley) and Gilbert Jr. (Chanel); grandson Corbyn; brothers Frank, Steve and Richard; sisters Carmen, Jennie, Mary, Rose, Margaret, Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be 11 a.m. Sept. 7, 2013, at Sacred Heart Parrish, 150 Fleury St., Prescott, Ariz. A reception in Gilbert's honor will follow. Information provided by survivors.
