David John "BOKA" Morgan, Jr. died peacefully at his home in Black Canyon City, AZ on August 16th. He was born on April 19, 1941 to David and Mildred Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and great-niece.
He is survived by his children David, Kent, Amy (Kevin), Kerry (Mark) and his beloved grandchildren Emily, Ryan, and Adam. Also survived by his loving sisters Sandra (Jerry), Joan (Jack), and Sharon (Dave) and many nieces and nephews. His special friend Teri Wondra, who provided around the clock care in his final days, and Carrie Hargrave of Flagstaff were a blessed presence in his life and we will be forever grateful.
David was a long-time educator, philosopher, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and a well-loved Flagstaff musician/songwriter who touched many lives with his music, philosophy and love. He will be greatly missed.
An informal "Celebration of Life " will be held Saturday, September 7th at 1:00 pm at the Beacon Unitarian Universalist Congregation's church at 510 N. Leroux St. in Flagstaff. David wishes us "BOKA " (Be OK Always").
