GROVE, Rodney Rowe

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 Rodney Rowe Grove, 79, beloved father and friend to many others, passed away on Friday night, Sept. 6, 2013, at 11:57 p.m. A resident of Spring Valley, Ariz., he had lived in this area for 34 years and had acquired numerous friends over that time. He helped many people over the years in countless ways. Suffering from cancer, Rodney fought it to the very end. Rodney passed at home with a wonderful, loving group of friends that are now family. They gave back to Rodney what he had given many times. Making him feel comfortable and loved until the end made his passing the most beautiful, peaceful, loving and painless way we could all wish for anyone, including ourselves. He will be laid to rest in Wisconsin next to his daughter Connie. Born on April 30, 1934, he was a unique, loving, special man who always put family and others before himself. He was a very talented man with a rich history, and colorful wisdom that he freely passed on to others. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Angie and many others. We can all rest assured he now has his wings and is at peace watching over us all. He will live in our memories forever. Information provided by survivors.
