STROUD, Bradley Robert (Brad)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, September 15, 2013 Bradley Robert Stroud, 61, of Prescott, Ariz., departed this life Saturday Aug. 24, 2013, in Prescott. He was born April 3, 1952, in Chula Vista, Calif., to Robert and Joanna Stroud. Brad was born in Chula Vista and raised in Oceanside, Calif. He loved the ocean and was a surfer. He spent his life as a long-haul oversized truck driver, making friends across the United States, sharing his faith in Jesus whenever he could. He came home to Prescott two months ago to work as a painter for Mathias Painting Company and was enjoying the Prescott area, his wife and home. Riding his motorcycle was a joy for him, and it is also what took his life. He was the most alive person I have ever known, enjoying his garden and his friends. He was my joy. I love him, and I will miss him very much. There will be a memorial service 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the Lifepointe Church, 10100 Arizona Highway 69, Prescott Valley, Ariz.
