HINMAN, Thelma Mildred (Millie)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, September 19, 2013 Thelma Mildred Hinman, 93, entered peacefully into eternal rest at her home in Prescott with her granddaughter at her side on Sept. 16, 2013. She was born in Sour Lake, Texas, and has been living in Prescott for over 29 years. Mildred, known to friends as "Millie" and family as "Mimi," has faithfully supported various ministries over the years, including Alongside Ministries, Chuck Colson Prison Ministries, missionaries, local churches, and humane societies over four states. She was known as an avid animal lover, wonderful seamstress and an accomplished cook. Survivors include her daughter Marian Ferguson; four grandchildren, Cynthia Broening, Michael Broening, Diane Williams and Brent Menke; and niece and nephew Bea Miille and Chris Martin. Memorial services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley, Ariz. Entombment is private at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey. Memorial contributions may be made to Yavapai Humane Society. Information provided by survivors.
