Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Eileen "Ike" Renee Johnston (December 13, 1956 - September 15, 2013) Eileen “Ike” Renee Johnston Eileen “Ike” Johnston passed away at Flagstaff Medical Center September 15, 2013 at the age of 56. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Steve Beke of 24 years, sister Colleen Goltz of Flagstaff, Arizona, niece Tracy (James) Clayton and great nephew Tanner of Chino Valley, Arizona, step-nephews Gabriel Goltz (Fiancée Eileen) of Phoenix, Arizona and Jason (Joelle) Goltz of Salt Lake City, Utah, and brothers-in-law Louis Beke (Fran), Tony Beke, Joe Beke(Carrie), niece Karen (Alex), nephews Jason (Jenean), Jarred, great-nephew Wyatt and great niece Ashlyn. She was born in Moline, Illinois on December 13, 1956. She graduated from Tempe High School and studied psychology at Northern Arizona University. She had worked over 20 years at Western Technologies where she had received the “Employee of the Year” award. Eileen loved being an Aunt and cherished her special bond with her niece Tracy. Her interests included her lifetime love of animals, enjoyed reading and music, travel, the beach and water activities. Her parents William S. and Corinne B. Johnston of Tucson, Arizona and her brother-in-law Larry Goltz of Flagstaff, Arizona predeceased her. An Open House will be held Sunday, September 22 from 4 - 6 p.m., in the family room at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66.
