Black’s Show Low Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Sammy Mae Kizzar (August 9, 1926 - September 21, 2013) Sammy Mae Kizzar, 87, passed away on September 21, 2013 in Pinedale, AZ at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Clay Springs, AZ on August 9, 1926. Sammy was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a camp leader for 24 years, a Librarian, a Compassionate Server Leader and had many other callings. She was well known for her quilting techniques. Sammy served many in the community and was known as a Mid- Wife. Sammy was preceded in death by her Parents – Benjamin McNeil, Sarah Ethel McNeil and Armon Hunt (Step-Dad), Husband – Leonard Ray Kizzar, Daughter – Julia Roland Kizzar, Sons – Kurt Anthony Kizzar and Lenny William Kizzar and Grandson – Dereck Eugene Kizzar. She is survived by; Son – Delray (Karen) Kizzar of Mesa, Daughter – Ethel Lana Kizzar (Michael) Rexroat, Step-Sisters – Rose Marie Baily and Annabell Nelson, 15 Grandchildren and 2 Great – Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Clay Springs Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Highway 260 in Clay Springs, AZ. The Viewing begins at 9am with the Funeral Service beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be immediately following at Clay Springs Cemetery.
