BRAKE, Else

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 Else Brake passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013. Born in Germany, she lost her husband and only child during WW II. She emigrated to Canada, then to the U.S., where she became a citizen, and was twice more a widow. Despite all her hardships, she maintained an independent and positive spirit. She was fortunate to have many loving and caring friends. She is survived by a nephew; cousins; three stepchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 14 step-great grandchildren. Burial will be private for the family. Instead of flowers, please send a donation in Else's name to Chino Valley Community Church, 1969 N. Highway 89, Chino Valley, AZ 86323.
