Clint Desmond Reed died unexpectedly Sept. 23, 2013, in Phoenix. An Arizona native, he was born Nov. 6, 1949, the oldest of four children.
Clint graduated from high school from Canyonville Bible Academy (Oregon) in 1967. He was raised in Springerville, where he kept close ties his entire life. He graduated with a college degree in 1972 from Phoenix College. Clint served in the Air Force for four years and was a journeyman electrician, pilot and flight instructor and small business owner. He was a hardworking man with many talents and loved helping others. Clint will be remembered and honored by many family members and close friends.
His death was preceded by his parents, Elva Boles and Fred Reed.
Clint is survived by his wife, Sylvia Reed; son Brent (Joy) and their children, Blake and Caitlyn; daughter Syble (Aaron) Paris and their children, Avery, Addison and Liam; stepson: Eddie (Alison) Pendleton; stepson Brian Troxel; brother Todd (Lisa) Boles and sisters: Susan (Paul) Hicks and Stephanie (Dan) Hill.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., with service at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Road in Scottsdale.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, in Springerville.
