Janet Naomi Schmidt passed away Sept. 9, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 66. She was born March 20, 1947, in Jackson, Mich., to Arthur L. and Odessia L. (Cramer) Schmidt.

Janet has made Arizona her home for the last 15 years and she was a loving mother and an avid gardener.

Janet is survived by her sons, William Michael Carr and Heather McIntyre, and David and Cyndi Schmidt; and nine grandchildren, Montana, Odessia, Olivia, Jazmyn, Michaela, Oriana, Jacklyn, Odin and Ember; sister, Beth Cottrell; nieces and nephews, Isaac and Alisha Cottrell and family, Shana (Cottrell) & Kenneth Kuhn and family, Eric Schmidt and Melissa (Schmidt) and Mark Buckland and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Odessia Schmidt; and her brother, Richard Schmidt.
