Clarence George Casey, “Sonny,” as he was known by all, was born July 11, 1942, in Kellogg, Idaho, and passed away Sept. 10, 2013 in Lake Havasu City.
After attending Asotin High School in Washington, Sonny worked in many capacities throughout his life, including working eight years at Edwards Canvas Industries in Pauls Valley, Okla. He was also a truck driver and business owner, managing his businesses of window washing and pressure cleaning in the Branson, Mo., area.
Sonny lived in Lake Havasu City, Laughlin and Las Vegas; Kissee Mills, Mo.; Harrison, Ark.; Pauls Valley, Okla.; Vancouver, Wash.; and Irrigon, Ore.; among other cities.
Sonny was known for his outgoing nature and friendliness. Among his many activities, he was a past president and vice-president of the Day Breakers Motorcycle Club in Pauls Valley, Okla., helping raise funds for numerous charities. He came to know God before he passed, as well.
Sonny was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Mae Peterson Casey; father, Lloyd Patrick Casey; sisters, Donna Casey Brown and Patsy Casey Hodge; and ex-wife, Janice Hasting. He is survived by his brothers, Daniel Robert Casey and Robert Daniel Casey; and sister, Sue Ann Casey Kelley; his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Michael Patrick Casey and Sanae Casey; his daughters, Cathy Hasting, Nellie V. Casey; four grandchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members too numerous to mention.
