Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Tuesday, September 17, 2013 - Larry left us unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013. He was born June 5, 1947 in Buffalo Center, Iowa and moved with his family to Phoenix in 1962. He has lived in Lake Havasu City for the last 5 years. If you met him – you loved him! Larry loved to spend his days searching for gold, golfing, camping or trolling the hills to find another great view. He was a member of the Havasu Gold Seekers and the Colorado River GPAA. He spent his Navy Career aboard the USS Intrepid as a plane captain. Larry’s funny stories and adventures will continue to be shared by family and friends who love and miss him so, so much.
