Nancy was born Aug. 28, 1938, in the Bronx, N.Y., the oldest of four children. She was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Sally Nowak (Lindenbaum); and brother, Michael Nowak. Nancy worked in the garment district as a buyer in Manhattan and never lost her love or eye for fashion. A devoted wife and mother, she was caring and strong to the end. Nancy rarely complained during her long battle with Parkinson’s disease, preserving her dignity and the peace of mind of those who cared so much about her. Her joy in life was the wellbeing of others, a loss to everyone she’s left behind and a blessing to those she has joined. She will be greatly missed.
