Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Anna Tippetts February 16, 1940 - September 21, 2013 Anna Tippetts, 73, of Marana, AZ passed away September 21, 2013. She was born in Hagerstown, MD on February 16, 1940 to her parents Russel and Francis. When she was young, she loved spending time on the ocean shore and was an avid lover of sea food. On March 23, 1957 she married Robert Sterling Tippetts Sr. in Paxton, IL. She had met Bob, when her brother, Roy, and brought him home on leave from the Air Force. Their first son, George Russell was born in Paxton but only lived a day. Shortly after they moved to Arizona where she has resided ever since. After they were married, Bob told Anna wanted 12 children, and they almost succeeded. They had ten more children together, Robin, Tina, Patty, Robert Sterling Jr.,"Bob", Terri, Bill, Dave, Penny, Toby and Marty. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mom "Shorty", Dad, "Russell, and her sister Marlene. She is survived by her only brother Roy who lives in Pennsylvania. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the San Manuel Assembly of God church, with a visitation from 9-10am. Burial will be in Oracle Cemetery. She will be greatly missed.
