Territory Tuesday, November 18, 1902 It will be learned with sorrow by many of our people that Miss Mamie Hale died on the 16th at Kingman, where she had for some time resided. Her remains were brought to Prescott this morning, and she will be buried in this city tomorrow at 2:30 by P. Mohn & Co. from the Methodist church on Marina street. She had been some months afflicted with consumption. She is a sister of Mrs. Jean Osenburg, of McCabe, and besides has a father who is employed at the Crowned King. The sympathy of the community is extended her bereaved relatives. Article found in the Sharlot Hall Library Archives. --------------------- Prescott Weekly Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, November 21, 1902, page 4, column 2 Miss Mamie Ellen Hale, aged 24 years, died of consumption at Kingman, Arizona, on the 16th of this month. The body arrived in Prescott yesterday, and was brought her from Kingman by C. W. French, deceased being a niece of Mrs. G. W. French. Mr. Hale, father of deceased, came in from the Henrietta yesterday. Mrs. Eugene Osenberg, of this county, is a sister of deceased, who resided in this city for some months was highly esteemed by all who knew her. The funeral will be conducted ted by P. Mohn & Co. and will take place at 2:30 p.m. today from the Marina street Methodist church. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.
