Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Zula Graybeal October 28, 1932 - September 26, 2013 Zula Graybeal went home to God on Thursday morning, Sept 26, 2013. She passed at home with her husband and loved ones by her side. Zula was born on October 28, 1932 in Leroy, Louisiana to Eddie and Felicie Rost. She was the 7th of 13 children. She married Theodore (T.K.) Graybeal on March 7, 1958 in Bay City Texas. T.K. and Zula moved back to Winslow, AZ in March 1968 with their 5 children in tow. Zula's greatest joy in life was caring for her husband and children. She "loved big, loud, family gatherings" (her words). She also loved cooking, especially her Cajun specialties. She enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, holidays, snow and her beloved domino games. Zula worked in the lumber industry and also served as a City of Winslow Clerk before starting a successful building supply business with her husband. She enjoyed being part of the Merry Wives of Winslow and her time spent as a volunteer with Hospice and the Senior Center. Zula is survived by her husband of 55 years, T.K. Graybeal and by her children Becky Graybeal of Winslow, Carrie Jacobsen of Prescott, Theresa Warren of Winslow, Donna Sanchez of Charlotte, NC and Roger (Tiffany) Graybeal of Anthem. Grandchildren: Amanda, Raymond, Matthew, Jennifer, Courtney, Paul, Olivia, Reagan and Trent. Great Grandchildren: Alex, Dallon, Sophia, Nathan, Krystina, Kaitlyn, Elyzabeth, Channing and Mia. Siblings: Willa, Herbert, Paul (Aldan), Earlene, Larry, Helen and Deanna. She is preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Felicie Rost, siblings: Vernice (Meon), Dennis, Claude, Inez and Jean. Zula was loved by everyone who knew her for her kindness, generosity and wonderful humor. She will be dearly missed by all. Love you Mom!
