CALLAHAN, Patrick William

Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Patrick William Callahan passed away September 8, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 85. He was born December 23, 1927 in Detroit, MI to John E. Callahan and Eleanor C. (Potts). Patrick enlisted in the Army in 1946 until being Honorably Discharged in 1948. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent DePaul, NRA, VFW, American Legion and Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. His hobbies were photography, computers, loved to paint and had a deep passion for Ireland. Patrick has made Lake Havasu City is residence for the last 35 years. Patrick is survived by his nephews Joseph Callahan, Jr. of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Kevin Callahan of Bend, OR, Kenneth Jarvis of Phoenix, AZ and his nieces Janice Starkey of Phoenix, AZ, Karen Schlipp (Joseph) of Benton Harbor, MI and Marilyn Presher of Florida. He is preceded in death by his wife Muriel; brothers Jackie, Joseph and sister Mary. A Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM with a Rosary at 2:00 PM. Services will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Father Lawrence Bakut officiating. Inurnment will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens with Military Honors rendered by VFW Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81 following the Service.
