Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at the Prescott National Cemetery. Arrangements by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~ Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona Lowel Frank Pierce October 3, 1937 ~ September 28, 2013 Lowel died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at his home in Cottonwood, Arizona. He was born October 3, 1937 in a cabin on Weston Mountain, Oregon; the son of Frank and Lorea Pierce. Lowel was 75 years old. Lowel served his country in the United States Navy, married the love of his life Gwendolyn Gail Hall on August 24, 1957 and helped raise 6 children. He retired as a solid waste supervisor and volunteered for the Forest Service and OHV. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles,off roading, wood working and spending time with his grandchildren, they were his pride and joy. Lowel is survived by his loving wife Gail; children, Tammy Pierce of Cottonwood, AZ, Sondra (Elvis) Garner of Camp Verde, AZ, Jackson (Kelly) Pierce of Michigan, Kris (Colin) Crosby of Cottonwood, AZ, Iva Williams of Cottonwood, AZ, Kelly Stringham of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Stephen, Sheyenne, Taylor, Miranda, Shain, Skylar, Maddi, Desi, Levi and Gail.
