Grant Abbott Drennen Jr., 60, of Tucson, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2013. He was born May 9, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Rebecca; and devoted son, Grant "Trip" Drennen III. He is also survived by his sister, Helen (Robert) Nycz of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers-in-law, Melton and Charles McFadden, both of Phoenix; mother-in-law, Patricia Barton of Kingman; and by many dear nieces and nephews who will miss their Uncle Grant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances May and Grant Abbott Drennen Sr., and his sister, Marianne Drennen.
Memorial services are planned for Grant at the Empire Ranch on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, followed by a barbecue dinner and gathering of friends and family. Grant will be laid to rest at a later date in the family cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.
