Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on October 8, 2013 - Terry Hampson, 72, of Kingman passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, after a brief battle with cancer. Terry was born in Aurora, Ill., and moved to Kingman in 1996 after retiring from Caterpillar Tractor. In Kingman he worked for Gale Insulation. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Marines. Terry was an avid gardener. He enjoyed target shooting and prospecting. Terry is survived by his bride of 37 years, Sandra (Maurer); daughters, Laurie Hanson of Batavia, Ill., and Shelley Peterson Brown of Yorkville, Ill.; stepmother, Charlotte Hampson of Montgomery, Ill.; sisters, Sherry DesCamps and Vicki Rogers of Galesburg, Ill., and Carolyn Barrone of Montgomery; brothers, Kelley Rogers of Carlisle, Pa., and Glenn Hampson of Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his mother, Renee Rogers; father, Glenn Hampson; and sisters, April Valentine and Janet Humphries. Friends and family are invited to the Hampson home from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13
