Ann Ringle Price, 94, passed away on Aug. 28, 2013. Ann was born in Tiffin, Ohio, on Dec. 5, 1918.
She was married to Thomas Bradford Price, Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. After his honorable discharge in 1947, Ann and Brad moved to Prescott, Ariz., with their two daughters, JoAnn and Valerie. Once in Prescott, they had two more children, Penelope and Thomas Alexander.
Ann was very active in St. Luke's Episcopal Church, including teaching Sunday school every week. She loved working with the children and put on wonderful Christmas pageants each year. In 1968, Ann went back to college and earned her teaching certificate. She was a beloved teacher at Miller Valley Elementary School until 1984.
After her husband died in 1984, Ann gave her time to the Prescott Art Docents, taking reproductions of masterpieces into the schools. She also played bridge, was active in the P.E.O. and traveled extensively with friends and family through Europe, Egypt, Mexico, Canada and the United States, where she enthusiastically studied art in all the museums.
Ann is survived by her four children, and 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ann Ringle Price will be buried in the Arlington National Cemetery next to her cherished husband Thomas Bradford Price.
