Lamont Mortuary of Globe, Globe, Arizona LAURA JEAN CLARK (June 28, 1972 - October 6, 2013) LAURA JEAN CLARK age 41 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on October 6, 2013 at San Carlos HIS Hospital. She was born in San Carlos, Arizona on June 28, 1972 She was an elementary school teacher at the East Fork Lutheran School. She is survived by her parents Jennie and Robert Clark Sr. and her brother Michael Clark of San Carlos, Arizona Wake will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 @ 6:00 A.M. at the Grace Lutheran Church Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 @ 10:00 A.M. at the Grace Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Lower Peridot Six Mile Cemetery ~~~~~~~~~~ Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Wednesday, October 16, 2013 Laura Jean Clark went to live with her God and Savior on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013. She lived for 41 years. She was born in San Carlos, Ariz. She attended Peridot Lutheran Elementary, East Fork Lutheran High School and then earned Bachelor of Science in Education from the formerly named Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn. For most of her career, Miss Clark came full circle and returned to East Fork Lutheran School to teach elementary education. She was devoted to her profession and loved the children in her care. She taught sporting activities in addition to general education. She loved to read and was so elated when her young students began to read and write. She was an avid sports fan and had a particular passion for football. She also enjoyed country western music. She was especially fond of the Christmas holiday season and selflessly committed a significant amount of resources and time to creating homemade boxes of holiday treats for family and friends. She extended herself quite graciously and challenged herself to be active and present in the lives of her extended family. Her generosity and kindness were her hallmarks. She is survived by her father, Mr. Robert Clark Jr.; her mother, Jennie Mae Clark; and her older brother, Michael Clark. Her maternal grandparents were Mr. Irving Bendle Sr. and Mable Bullis Bendle. Her paternal grandparents were Mr. Robert Clark Sr. and Bertha Clark. Laura has a numerous and loving legacy of extended family. Her funeral service was celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Grace Lutheran Church in San Carlos, Ariz. Interment was in 6 Mile. The family is very grateful for the assistance of Grace Lutheran Church, the San Carlos Apache Tribe, Lamont Mortuary of Globe and the overwhelming support of generous family and friends.
