PIMPER, David Lewis

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/11/2013 David Lewis Pimper, 64, resident of Springerville, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013. He was born Dec. 23, 1948, in Riceville, Iowa, the son of Henry and Janice Rowan Pimper. David worked for a number of years for Salt River Project, from which he retired. He then started D&S Mobile RV Service, which he sold in 2010. Dave loved fishing, camping, traveling and reading. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Susan Nancy Pimper; son Gregory David (Elizabeth) Pimper of Murphy, Texas; daughter Jennifer Elizabeth Pimper; mother-in-law Mary Elizabeth Starr; brother Mike Pimper of Show Low; sister Mary Ann Pimper of Yuma; and one grandchild, Catie Pimper. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry A. Pimper. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
