Heritage Funeral Chapel, Peoria, Arizona Mabel Celia Williams May 9, 1918 - October 6, 2013 Mabel Celia Williams of Peoria, Arizona, passed away on October 6, 2013 at the age of 95. Mabel was born May 9, 1918 in Utica, South Dakota. She grew up on a working farm with her parents William and Emma Bierle, a brother, Otto and sister Alma. She married Charles Richard Williams on January 24, 1939 at Long Beach, California. Mabel was a housewife and later worked for J.C. Penney's in Garden Grove until they moved to Hemet, California. She was a loving mother and devoted wife who cared deeply about her family. In 2002, she moved to Peoria, Arizona living at the Desert Winds Retirement community. Mabel is survived by her two sons Dennis and Daniel, daughter-in-laws Terri and Joanne. She has five grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. A private ceremony will be held with family and she will be buried at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California beside her husband.
