HARPER, Carol Lee (Bud)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/15/2013 Carol Lee “Bud” Harper, 70, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, in Phoenix. He was born Jan. 1, 1943, in Wright City, Okla., the son of Oscar Samuel Harper and Gertrude Lavina Chronister Harper. Bud served his country in the United States Air Force from 1961-65. He loved his job as a truck driver and never retired. He loved driving trucks and keeping them clean and shining. He loved having fun and motorcycles and was someone you could call and he would back you up. He is a loved man. Bud is survived by his sons: Jeff Harper of Alpine; Jim Harper of Mesa; brothers: Wayne and Jimmy; sisters: Juanita, Evelyn, Gwinda and Barbara; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
