Black’s Show Low Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Margaret L. Wright (March 21, 1914 - October 10, 2013) Our beloved Mother, Margaret Lillian Wright, peacefully entered Heaven on Thursday afternoon, October 10, 2013 at her home in Show Low. She is now free from the travails of this Earth and is with God. She was born on March 21, 1914 in Chanute, Kansas. Margaret was a woman of many talents – though too modest to ever acknowledge them. She successfully owned and operated the Indian Den Trading Post in Show Low for many years. From 1971-1981 she acted in amateur plays at the Woman’s Club. Margaret was a long time member of the White Mountain Christian Church. She had a generous heart and was quick to help those in need. Over many years numerous individuals and charities benefited from her abundant generosity. She was a loyal and steady friend to so many, who cared for her, as she cared for them, and she loved her family and her country above all else. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Margaret was preceded in death by; Husband – George E. Wright, Sisters – Hildred Mayfield, June Blunk and Doris Perry, Sister-in-law – Ruth Jones, several brothers and first Husband – Forrest A. Totman. She is survived by; Sons – Alan C. Totman of Show Low and Richard M. Wright of Prescott Valley, Niece – Sheila A. Foster of Suffern, New York, Nephew – Roger Fairchild and Best Friend - Chloe Schwartz of Lakewood, CA. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday. October 21, 2013 at 2 PM at Black’s Show Low Mortuary.
