The Weekly Arizona Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, October 15, 1880, page 3.1 (From Thursday's Daily) Death of W. Ball - Mr. W. Ball, who was injured sometime since, at the Tip Top mine, by a stone rolling on him, died yesterday morning at the City Hospital, where he has been cared for since receiving the injuries. He was buried to-day in the Citizens' burying ground, a goodly number of our citizens turning out to the burial. He is said to have been a good, industrious man. Transcriber's note: Mr. Ball is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
