KERR,
Edward
The Arizona Weekly Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory
Friday, March 20, 1874, page 3, column 1
Edward Kerr, a native of Ireland, aged about 47, died in this town early in the morning on Sunday last, March 15, of disease of the liver.
Mr. Kerr came to Arizona many years ago, and had lived at Tucson and Wickenburg previous to coming here. He was, at the time of his death, a supervisor of this County, which office he filled, since last election, in an able and honorable manner.
A man of good education, gentle manners and the irreproachable character, his death is deeply regretted and will be by hundreds of people throughout the territory.
His remains were, to-day, deposited in the citizens graveyard.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Kerr is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
