Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Saturday, April 15, 1905, page 3, col. 2 Patrick Flynn died at the Mercy Hospital at 12 o'clock the night of April 13, 1905, of tuberculosis. He was 22 years of age and a native of Ireland. He was well known in base ball circles and belonged at one time to some of the best league clubs in the east. He came here a few weeks ago from Rochester, N.Y., hoping that a change of climate would prove beneficial to his health. He was a very gentlemanly man and made many friends during his short residence here. His brother has been telegraphed to at Rochester, N.Y., as to funeral arrangements. --------------------------------- Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, April 17, 1905 Yesterday the remains of the late Patrick Flynn were followed to their last resting place in the Citizens cemetery by many mourning friends. -------------------------------- Weekly Arizona Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, April 19, 1905, page 8, col. 5 Patrick Flynn, aged about 25, died early Friday morning at Mercy hospital as the result of lung trouble. Flynn was well known here and in Phoenix where he played baseball. Recently he suffered a severe hemorrhage, and since that time he has been at the hospital. Though his condition was serious his death came as a surprise. The remains are being prepared for shipment by H. M. Maus & Co. Yesterday that firm received a telegram from Parker Murphy, of Rochester, New York, inquiring as to the expense of shipping the remains. Flynn's home was in Rochester. The pallbearers will be, Will Carroll, Ben Delaney, H. Cate, V. Burke, F. Grabb and J. Goldy. Rev.
