A celebration of his life will be held Monday, from 2:15 to 5 p.m., at PT’s in Winslow. Greer Mortuary in Winslow is handling the arrangements. ~~~~~~ Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Kenneth Woods September 01, 1962 - October 15, 2013 There will be a Celebration of Life for Kenneth Woods, 51, from 2:15 to 5:00 PM on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 on the Patio at P.T’s Kenneth was born in Philadelphia, PA on Sept. 1, 1962 and entered into rest on October 15, 2013 in Winslow, AZ. He graduated from Germantown High School and attended Penn State University. Following his dream, he became a combat engineer in the US Army. He wanted to be like his uncle who held the same position. Kenneth served in the Persian Gulf War. He married his wife Alma on her birthday, Feb. 13, 1989. After his service he moved to El Paso, TX in 1992 where he lived until he moved to Winslow, AZ in the Summer of 1999. He was a Correction Officer for the AZ Dept. of Corrections. He is survived by his wife Alma Cecilia Woods; sons, Alex Oviedo, Marcous Anthony Woods; daughters Angelica Reffner (David), Dominique Natasha Woods, Britnay Jasmine Woods; grandkids D.J. Reffner, Adrian Reffner, Maalik Woods; sisters, Mary Woods, Rosalie Woods, Lorrie Hemmings, Jeanette Woods; brothers, Ernest Woods and Andrew Woods. Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Dessie Woods; sister, Laura Charles and brother James Woods. Kenneth will be laid to rest at a family plot in Philadelphia, PA.
