The Lord called W. Lorine Wright home Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 as she was surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old. Lorine Britton was born Sept. 29, 1929, to Elery Eugene Britton and Lillian Clara (Ball) Britton in Dalhart, Texas. Lorine attended schools in Clifton, Colo., and graduated from Central High School in 1947. While attending Rockmont College in Denver, she met and married the love of her life, Wayne Wendell Wright, Dec. 26, 1949. She retired from the Colorado State Employment office in 1988 and has lived in Lake Havasu City since 1997.
Lorine enjoyed motorhome travel, singing in the church choir, crocheting and knitting blankets for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lorine was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, Oct. 22, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her mother, her father and brothers, Clarence and Neil.
Survivors include daughters, Sherralyn Daniels (Lory) of Montrose, Colo., Vicki Griner of Lake Havasu City, formerly of Cassville, Mo., and Judy Orr (Steve) of Lake Havasu City. Grandchildren are Michael Orr, Michelle (Boxley) Bolton, Megan (Daniels Langer, Tara (Daniels) Williams, Kari (Orr) Krantz, Andrew Daniels, Lindsey Daniels and Laura (Griner) Stensrud. There are 13 great-grandchildren with another great grandson due in January. Lorine will be deeply missed by her family and all her knew her. A special thanks to Hospice Hospice of Havasu. Memorial services will be at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
