Stewart Lane Davis died Oct. 15, 2013, in St. Johns. He was born June 14, 1958, in the old hospital in St. Johns, the third of six sons born to Calvin and Robbie Davis.
Stewart attended school, where he participated in football, track and wrestling, graduating in 1976. He loved horses, both roping and racing. He was one of the first licensed building contractors on the mountain.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin L. Davis.
He is survived by his mother, Robbie Davis; two older brothers: Russell of Salt Lake City, Utah, Nelson of St. Johns; three younger brothers: Cameron and Aaron of Payson and Dallas of Flagstaff. He is also survived by five sons: Jordan of Phoenix, Carson of Round Valley, Austin of Florida, and Brent and Chance of Tucson.
A visitation will be held from 10-11:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at Burnham Mortuary in St. Johns, followed by a graveside dedication at 12 p.m. at the St. Johns City Cemetery.
