WILLIS, Georgia

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona April 4, 2008 Georgia Willis, daughter of John and Antoinette Lukas, passed away on March 27, 2008 in Scottsdale, Arizona at the age of 82. Mrs. Willis was a long-time valley resident born on February 14, 1926. She moved to Scottsdale from the Chicagoland area in August, 1957. Up until her passing, Georgia enjoyed gardening, reading and a passion for old movie classics. Mrs. Willis is survived by husband Earl of Scottsdale, her daughter Kathy Kenney, son-in-law Bob Kenney and granddaughters Allyson and Jaclyn Kenney of Gilbert, Arizona as well as her sister Pat Buresh of Mena, Arkansas. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Community at 10815 North 84th Street, Scottsdale, Arizona. Reception immediately following at Messinger Pinnacle Peak. As husband Earl Willis is a veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserve, interment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 1:30 pm.
