Leo Douglas Ash
March 11, 1948 - October 25, 2013
Lee Ash, 65, of Sun Valley, Arizona passed away peacefully into God's arms on Friday, October 25, 2013 while holding his wife's hand in the comfort of his home.
He was happiest when he was fishing and hiking. His greatest joy was his dogs. He also deeply loved being a grandfather. His greatest pride was the fourteen years he spent driving a fuel tanker for Bradco in Holbrook, Arizona.
He wants the world to know how blessed he was. Lee asked that we not be sorrowful on this day; but rather that we rejoice and remember his love of life.
Survivors include his loving wife Kathie, his beloved daughter Tracy (Kenneth) Heck of Las Vegas, Nevada, son Scott (Laura) Ash of Prescott, Arizona, step-daughter Jennifer Ward of Tempe, Arizona, step-son Michael (Lisa) Codding of Greeley, Colorado, step-daughter Sherri (Chris) Weber of Texas, step-daughter Heather Gonzales of Mesa, Arizona; eleven grandchildren and was expecting the first great grandchild in December.
A celebration of Lee's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:00 am at the First Assembly of God Church, 500 Mission Lane in Holbrook, Arizona.
Lee requests rather than flowers that a donation be made to the Memorial Fund in the name of Lee Ash at Bank of The West. "Quack! Quack!"
