Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, October 30, 2013 - Barbara Jean Trice passed away on Oct. 27, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 77. She was born Aug. 10, 1936, in Chicago, Ill., to Chester and Gladys (Burt) Petersen. Barbara was an amazing mother and wife, dedicating her life to raising her family, moving to Lake Havasu City nine years ago. She bowled nationally for 25 years, also enjoying golf, canning, sewing and collecting camels. She was a member of the Sacramento Women’s Bowling Association. Barbara is survived by her loving family, her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Trice, of Lake Havasu City; sons, Kenneth Trice Jr. (Catherine), of Lake Havasu City, and John Trice (Christene), of Henderson, Nev.; daughters, Debra Padgett (Brent), of El Dorado, Calif., Terri Gutierrez (Joe), of Pleasant Grove, Calif., and Billie Firkel (Jeffrey), of Elverta, Calif.; brothers, Jim Peterson, of Prescott, and Corky Petersen, of Fountain Hills; sisters, Sondra Rynning, of Fountain Hills, and Connie Holman, of Montana; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
