McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel, Safford, Arizona Grant A Sehr February 27, 1941 - October 28, 2013 On October 28, 2013, surrounded by his loving family, Grant Sehr went home to live with his Heavenly Father. He was born February 27, 1941 in Detour, MI to Wanda Inice Sehr & Arthur George. Grant joined the army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He met the love of his life, Christel Appel, and they were married in Heidelberg, Germany in July of 1960. They were blessed with 3 children; Christina, Connie & Thomas. Grant & Christel moved to Arizona 40 years ago and found the property in Artesia. There is where they found peace. Grant put up a sign that said “Done moving” and they’ve been there ever since. Grant owned and operated Sehr’s Security Services. Grant is survived by his wife Christel, daughters Christina (Doug) Brevik-Jones, Connie Self and son Thomas (Cindy) Sehr, siblings; Nancy (Bill) Zanders & Don (Georgia) Sehr, 7 grandchildren; Michael, Tessa, Amber, Aaron, Timothy, Donovan and Savannah and 11 great-grandchildren. Grant is preceded in death by his mother Wanda Sehr. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
