VISCITO, JR., Joseph John


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, October 30, 2013 Joseph John Viscito Jr., 59, passed away on Oct. 18, 2013, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born on Dec. 1, 1953, in Orange, N.J., to Joseph and Catherine Viscito. He attended Essex Catholic High School in Newark, N.J., and then joined the U.S. Marines and served as a sergeant in the air wing as a Huey gunship door gunner during the Vietnam War. He was a beloved brother in the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club for 15 years. He loved dogs, weaponry, history and reading. He is survived by his wife, Amy Viscito; stepchildren Allison and William Hoelterling; grandchildren Alexa and Christopher Hoelterling; and brothers John, Russell and Neil Viscito. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Nov. 2, 2013, at the Miraclepointe Church, 581 Lincoln Ave., Prescott. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
