Angeliki Xanthopoulos, 89, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 11, 2006 at home.
Angeliki was born in Smyrna, Minor Asia and immigrated to Greece in 1922.
In 1930 Angeliki married Konstantine Xanthopoulos in Piraeus.
As a young adult, Angeliki was trained in the millinery field, but her main purpose in life was to raise her three children. In 1972 Angeliki and her husband moved to California to join their children, who had moved to the United States earlier.
She is survived by her daughter Nora Brown (Lloyd) of Jacksonville, Florida; sons George and Paul (Rosemary) of Scottsdale; as well as four grandchildren, Dean Brown of Jacksonville, Florida, Vana Overeem of Washington, Pennsylvania, and Fiona and Rosie Xanthopoulos of Scottsdale. Her beloved husband Konstantine preceded her in death in 2003.
Services were held at Life Paths Funeral Home, 6812 E. Thomas Road, Scottsdale. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021
