Services will be 12:30 p.m. Nov. 3, 2013, at Great Western Trails Ranch in Morristown, Ariz. Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~~ The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, October 30, 2013 Local hairstylist and motorcycle enthusiast Dee Krebs Ferrendelli died Sunday evening (Oct. 27) after she struck a pickup truck while on her motorcycle just north of Patton Road (south of Wickenburg) on U.S. Highway 60. According to Arizona Department of Transportation spokesperson Carrick Cook, Ferrendelli was traveling north on U.S. Highway 60 and was not wearing a helmet. He said a truck pulled out from Patton Road heading north and Ferrendelli was unable to stop in time before hitting the 2002 Dodge pickup. Cook said Ferrendelli was thrown from her motorcycle and suffered severe head trauma. The accident took place around 6:45 p.m., and she was pronounced dead at Del E. Webb Hospital at 8:12 p.m. It is unknown at this time if 32-year-old pickup driver Justin Elledge of Surprise has been cited, as the accident remains under investigation. A celebration of life for family and friends to share and celebrate Ferrendelli’s life and memories will take place Sunday (Nov. 3) at Western Trails from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Western Trails is located at 37823 N. Grand Ave. in Morristown. Donations for Ferrendelli’s family are being graciously accepted at the American Legion Post 12 in Wickenburg. Make donations to the American Legion Riders Post 12 in Dee Ferrendeilli’s name.
