ANDERSON, Ernest

Ernest Anderson, 84, of Sun City West, AZ passed away March 30, 2006. He was born February 22, 1922 in Corydon, IN. He was widowed from Jean Schoonover Anderson in 1991. He is survived by two sons, Thomas (Janis) of Detroit, MI and Steve (Rose) of Ann Arbour, MI; two daughters, Carole (Larry) Lipp of East Lansing, MI and Jane (Ken) Becker of Metuchen, New Jersey; six grandchildren, Sean, Jenny, Justin, Laura, Daniel and Beth; one brother Carl of Ohio. Ernest married a second time and is survived by his wife Lu, her four children and five grandchildren. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was Honorably discharged at the rank of Captain. He received a Bachelors degree from the University of Indiana and retired from Federal Mogul Corp. in Southfield, MI as Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Secretary. He was president of the National Assoc. of Manufacturers. He was on the Board of Directors for Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI and an active community leader on the school board. A Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday April 4, 2006 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 14818 W. Deer Valley Dr., Sun City West. Arrangements are by Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel.
