GEMAR, Charles E.

Charles E. Gemar, age 70 of Gold Canyon, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2003 in Scottsdale. Born May 4, 1933 in Clay County, TX to Uriah & Victoria Barger Gemar, Charles married Betty Ann Penrod on March 5, 1956. Charles served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a pyrotechnic mechanical engineer. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his stepmother Verna and his son Stuart. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Betty Gemar, children Steven Gemar, Becky Gemar-Rodriguez, Chuck Gemar, Jamie (John) Gemar-Dougherty and James (Terry) Gemar, one Sister Wanda Scherer, and twelve grandchildren.
