GONZALES, Joe S. "Mulato"

Joe S. "Mulato" Gonzales entered into rest on August 13, 2003. Joe is survived by his wife, Carmen G. Gonzales; 2 daughters, Virginia Carrizoza, and Frances Brito; 3 sons, Joe Gonzales, Jr., Andy Gonzales, and Tony Gonzales; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; and his sister Laura Gonzales. Joe worked for the City of Glendale and retired after 32 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, A member of Glendale Masonic Lodge #23 F.A.M., Member of Scottish Rite of Freemasonry S.J.U.S.A. of Phoenix, AZ; Member of the American Legion Post #41; life long member of the Musicians Union Local #586, Phoenix, AZ, and the Fraternal Order of Police Glendale Lodge #12. He proudly served his country during WWII in the Army AirForce. Joe will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation with a Rosary was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5614 W. Orangewood, Phx. Funeral mass was celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Interment at Resthaven Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary. the Arizona Republic from 8/18/2003 - 8/19/2003.
