KIRKHAM, Mary Irene

Mary Irene Kirkham joined her husband Elden with our heavenly father August 17, 2003. She was preceded by her brothers Joseph, George, Clifford and twin brother Myron Gregory. She was the proud mother of sons: Dick (Joyce), Tom (Tina), Joe Marilu) and Greg (Jackie). Grandmother to Beth, Kevin, Chris, John, Tami, Matt, Kasey, Katrina, Kirk, Jessica and Cody. Great-grandmother to Jerrine, Nikki, Justine, Heather and Amber, Great-great-grandmother to Marty. Mary was active in the Regina Guild & Catholic Daughters in Perry, Iowa. In Arizona, she was the campus outreach liaison between Most Holy Trinity Elementary School and J.C. Lincoln Senior Apartments; Mary worked 20 years in ER admissions at St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. She also served as a Eucharistic minister while at St. Raphael's Catholic Church and regularly attended Rosary group at J.C. Lincoln Senior Apartments. Mary was a keen bridge enthusiast and devoted family cheerleader. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Most Holy Trinity Catholic School, 535 E. Alice Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85020. Visitation was at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix, AZ. Memorial Mass was at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8620 N. 7th St., Phoenix, AZ. the Arizona Republic on 8/19/2003.
