Carl A. Peterson, 87 years old, born March 22, 1916, passed away August 7, 2003, originally of Chicago and Oak Park, late of Mesa, AZ. 

Retired Director of Engineering for Sola Electric, past President of the Chicago Lighting Club. 

Husband of Helen "Betty", (daughter Susan & Hank Rice) and the late Bette Ann; preceded in death by Ethel (Irving) Roane; loving father of Judith Britt, Pamela (David) Smith, Richard, Preston (Sue); grandfather of David Jr., Carrie (Curtis) Kenney, Michael (Katherine) Smith, Jeffrey and Noelle Peterson; great-grandfather of Ella Jane Smith; uncle to Scott (Rae) Roane, Robin (Gene) Boydston and Roger (Cathy) Roane; and a great uncle to many. 

Donations appreciated to the American Cancer Society. Memorial service September 6, 2006 at St. Matthew United Church of Christ, Wheaton, IL, 1420 S. Gable Blvd. 630-665-1236.
