Margaret M. Martinsen, 92, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on August 11, 2003. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she moved to Arizona 18 years ago. Margaret was retired from the Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She is survived by daughters, Marge (Dennis) Hively and Janet (Antonio) DaCosta; son, Martin, grandchildren, Eric and Mike Hively and one great grandchild. Her husband, Martin, sisters, Agnes Sehr and Loretta Walsh and brother, Harold Yellin preceded her in death. Visitation and Rosary Service were at Messinger Mortuary Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Rd. Scottsdale, AZ. Mass was held on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church, 1030 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ. Interment at Long Island Cemetery, Pine Lawn, NY. The family suggests memorials to St. Daniel the Prophet School. the Arizona Republic 8/14/2003.
