FRIEDMAN, Miriam

Miriam Friedman, 87, of Peoria, passed away on August 30, 2006. 

Miriam was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Arizona in 1962. 

She was an active member of the United Order of True Sisters and the Beth Israel Sisterhood. 

Survivors include husband Irvin Friedman; sons Steven (Merilyn) Friedman and Donald (Leslie) Friedman; daughter Judith (Bruce) Raben; sister Wilma Wishnuff; 6 grandchildren: Julie (Patrick) Smith, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Kirshner, Douglas (Christine) Friedman, Dana (Barry) Sandweiss, Jeffrey (Lisa) Raben, Amy Raben; and 8 great grandchildren. 

Memorial services were in Sinai Mortuary Chapel, 4538 N. 16th St. in Phoenix. Contributions are suggested to Jewish Family & Children's Services, 4220 N. 20th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85015.
