HENRY, Jathain C.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11-08-2013 Jathain C. Henry entered into rest Nov. 2, 2013. He was born on July 28, 1985, to Kimberly Johnson and Lambert Henry Sr. Jathain grew up in Cibecue and Phoenix. He loved the outdoors; fishing, camping or just hanging out with friends. Jathain was a true friend who was always willing to help and gave to others even when he had nothing. He will be remembered for his kindness and his jokes that made everyone laugh. He is survived by his father, Lambert Henry Sr.; brother Lambert Henry Jr.; sister Valeeda Henry; son Carlos Johnson; grandmother Sandra Altaha; great-grandma Eunice Tessay; foster parents: Fred and Alvina Greyeyes; his companion: Mary Jane Carter and many aunts, uncles, cousins and homies. Jathain was preceded in death by his mother Kimberly Johnson and sister Lamberta Marie Henry. A wake will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at 406 E. Spruce St. in McNary. Funeral services will be held at the same address at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor and Whiteriver handled arrangements.
