BUCK, Stella

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11-08-2013 Stella Noyes Buck, 86, resident of Show Low for the past six years, died the morning of Nov. 1, 2013, in Show Low. She was born Jan. 16, 1927, in Carthage, Maine. Stella had a great love for life and it showed in how she lived it; whether it was riding across the country on a motorcycle with her husband, Ben Gilmour, rounding up cattle on horseback or joining in off-road rides with Ben and their friends in the White Mountain Off Trail Association. Stella was a woman full of joy and love for all those that surrounded her. She will be greatly missed by many. Stella is survived by her husband, Benjamin Gilmour; four siblings: Isabel, Alice, Helen and Herbert. She is also survived by her six children: Sandy Husky, Shirley Dawdy, both of Show Low Pines, Stephen Buck of Concho, Spencer Buck, Richard Buck and Ronald Buck, all of Phoenix; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
